My first visit after I assumed the office at E2E solar Hyderabad. My first visit to a state ruled by my favorite chief minister…A city known for its ancient culture and the city of highest regarded business school in India. This is AHMEDABAD. I started from secunderabad ona day long journey to Ahmedabad by train. I thought this would be one of the most boring journeys I will ever have and had in my life as I was traveling alone. But for a group of people in my coupe my imagination would have come to reality. I cannot forget Mr.Rajendra kumar(RK) andMr. Rahul working as business development professionals and Dr.Balaji all these work for Care hospitals and Anuradha. RK will create an impression on everybody just by his physiqueJ and commanding voice. If you start listening to him you will be hypnotized with his version of things around the world. He has a witty and I should say a devout fan of RK, Mr.Rahul. Both of these people do a hi-five on every joke. And there is one more: a silent, intelligent and level headed techno-medico-financial-….genius – Mr.Balaji. I saw he was physics and engineering fanatic, the only one I met who after joining medicine read all the electronics and communication books. I think RK can prove anybody anything in this world but not to BalajiJ. These people made the day long journey look like a stroll. Not to forget about Mrs.Anuradha, I think we know everything about her family, her education, her wishes, likes-dislikes, her cousins, in-laws and everything under the sun related to her. The journey started becoming boring after all the three got off at Surat and still more boring from Baroda after Anuradha. The next two hours seemed to be horrifying. Any how thank god for all the company if not my 24hours would be as long as ages.
Any how after I went to Ahmedabad I saw the SabarmatiRiver made a huge difference to the city. It is as different as ‘pathabasti’ and ‘banjara hills’ for the people who know Hyderabad. I was alone in the room with my work load occupying the whole next day at Ahmedebad DRM’s office. I liked the sandwiches, the serene of Sabarmati Ashram, the huge KankariaLake in Ahmedabad, the architectural beauty of the Swaminarayan temple, the Jain temple and the mosques in the old city of Ahmedabad. The third day was a sweet sojourn to Bhavnagar, three hours away from Ahmedabad. I am thankful to the engineer whom I met at this place who made the meeting interesting. Rest apart the meet was successful. Way back I came for a short stint at Mumbai and visited all my brother and friends at Pune. As soon as I got down at Pune I saw almost everybody wearing face masks. The scene was so scary I could not stop blocking my nose with a hand kerchief at least. I pity that a city known for beautiful girls is covered under masks but this makes the glimpses of beauty more interesting when the wear them off J. This was it a small sweet journey to AHMEDABAD.
